There was a party for young and old in the Village Hall on Tuesday 23rd, with plenty of games and sumptuous refreshments.  The youngsters at Kilchattan were augmented by their elder fellow students from the mainland and when Santa quite suddenly appeared it turned out that everyone had been good.  It was a splendid event and everyone was most grateful to those who did the work, not least the elves from Colonsay Fire Brigade who had erected the tree and decked the hall.
